Some issues with the dress caused us to run a little late, but we made up for it after the wedding! The ceremony was downtown at Trinity Episcopal Church and the reception was at Lola's at the Bowery. If you've never been to Lola's, go now! Cool atmosphere, great food, excellent hospitality. Take some black Chuck Taylors, a lot of karaoke, (there should have been more) home made beer, skin art, some ohmygodthiscakeisunbelievable, and a bunch of friends and family that I am envious of, throw them all together and what do you have? Kellie and Tim's wedding!

I first met Kellie and Tim about 18 months ago when I shot her brother's wedding. She was wearing gloves. Mesh gloves. And a brown dress that looked, well, nothing short of fantastic with her red hair. And Tim danced like there was no tomorrow. Fast forward to June 14th and there I was, smack dab in the middle of a love fest the likes of which Langley Oklahoma has never seen before. Thanks, guys, for letting me photograph your wedding. Kelsie + Pete | June 12, 2008

They told me they needed me to photograph the reception, with a few family pictures just before. What they didn't tell me was that they were actually getting married, but without the traditional ceremony. At some point (though I'm still not quite sure when) someone with the vested power gave them the okie dokie to be married, and they stole away to exchange vows and rings between themselves. I couldn't hear what they were saying, but I saw their expressions, and I could tell these two were really in love and were meant for each other. Alice + Karim | June 7, 2008

Alice and Karim chose the Dresser Mansion for their ceremony and reception and I always enjoy shooting a wedding there. It allows for an environment of intimacy, and is a beautiful venue. The rain and severe weather threat could not keep the overflowing crowd from attending, or dampen the spirits of the wedding party. A simply beautiful dress, beautiful flowers, friends and family, and two people in love. What more do you need for a great wedding?
